Carbon MKII
by Carbon Mobile
Project Details
The revolutionary carbon fiber smartphone. where German engineering perfection and cutting-edge material innovation collide to unlock the future of mobile technology
The Carbon MK II is the first smartphone in the world to feature a carbon fiber monobody, enabling the device to be the thinnest Android smartphone device on the market in 2024. The carbon fiber consists of multi 1K and 3K ultra-thin filaments. When woven together, nothing can compete for lightweight strength. The design is lighter than aluminium and even more resistant to drop damage.
Responsibilities

Innovative Material Technology
In order to integrate the device antennas, the enginners created HyRECM (Hybrid Radio Enabled Composite Material) a process which forges carbon fibers with a complementary composite material with radio signal properties. The result is a carbon-fiber based monocoque structure that is incredibly thin, light and completely connected.
