As part of the Mate series product line, the Mate S is Huawei’s premier smartphone experience. The device is lightweight and slim, with an anodised aluminium unibody combined with a full 2.5D curved glass 5.5” vibrant AMOLED display.

Design development
The biggest challenge of large screen-device smartphones is reducing the overall impression of thickness. To this end, we positioned the battery in the centre of the product, allowing us to thin the outer edges, create a crisp edge in-hand feel.
